Volandri defeats Federer 6-2, 6-4

Volandri beats Federer 2 and 4 and Roddick loses to Chela 0 and 4. What is going on?

I opened up the live scoring and Volandri was at match point. I thought it was a typo at first. Wow! Roddick result surprises me very little.

i watched entire match, federer played really bad, voladnri was on fire,crowd got behind him early and that was it, roger level dropped a litlle in last couple of weeks, but now he is probably going to Hamburg next week to get some extra confidence in before Paris...
Roddick is just so bad on clay like every other American is, so it shouldnt suprise anybody when he loses to player like Chela who is having nice season, and probably will take care of Gonzalez tomorrow

Volandri was playing really well. Great serve return, fearless. Federer was spraying a bit.
Volandri beat Gasquet, Federer, Berdych...so it was a matter of playing really well (like Canas did earlier in the season). Roddick-Chela was close to a toss-up. It's red clay, not Andy's favorite.
